What we do
Global Digital Divide is a tax-exempt 501(C)(3) not-for-profit corporation created to help narrow the global digital divide. The global digital divide is set on the fact that the Internet has developed unevenly throughout the world causing some individuals to fall behind in technology, education and labor. Our initial operation will begin in Costa Rica and the USA. In Costa Rica, it will provide mobile Internet and computer technology such as new and used smart phones, tablets, notebooks and desktop computers to technologically underserviced individuals, students, groups and schools who are unable to fund the initial high upfront costs of obtaining this technology. And in the USA, to those who would benefit most from it including injured and disabled firefighters, poice, veterans, kids and retired people.
